So you recently just upgraded to vinyl windows, and you're looking for the best tips on how to care for them so they glide and slide with ease for years to come. You've come to the right place! Here's our three-step guide on how to care for your vinyl windows:

STEP 1 CLEAR TRACKS

Be sure to regularly clean your window and patio door tracks, ensuring they are free of dust, debris, or gunk. You can wash them with mild, nonabrasive soap and water and wipe away any dirt. Never use abrasive or acidic cleaners!

STEP 2 CLEAN FRAMES

Most dirt can be easily removed from your vinyl frames with your regular, all-purpose household cleaner and a cloth. Be sure not to use any rough brushes or sponges.

STEP 3 LUBRICATE

After cleaning your windows and patio tracks then lightly spray them with Pledge. This will help lubricate the sliding components and keep your windows and patio doors sliding with ease. You can also use a stick lubricant such as AGS Door-Ease. DO NOT USE WD40 as this will degrade the vinyl.
